Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and how to get it back or have it deleted.

1. Who controls your data
Touris.net, of 512 Fern Rd, Fort Bliss, TX 79906, is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. For any privacy question or request, contact us at info@touris.net or on 833-995-7702.
2. What we collect
When you send a cruise enquiry
- your first and last name;
- your email address and phone number;
- the number of adults and children travelling;
- the cruise you selected — line, ship, itinerary, sailing date, cabin grade and displayed fare;
- any requirements you type into the message field, which may include accessibility or dietary information;
- your IP address and browser user-agent, recorded for fraud prevention and rate limiting.
When you subscribe to the deals email
Your email address, and which page you subscribed from.
When you simply browse
We record standard server request logs, and we log the performance of our cruise data provider so we can diagnose outages. Neither identifies you personally. This website sets no advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
3. Special category data
If you tell us about a medical condition, disability, mobility requirement or pregnancy so that we can book suitable accommodation, that is special category data. We collect it only because you have chosen to give it to us for that purpose, we share it only with the operator who needs it to make the arrangements, and we do not use it for anything else.
4. Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation — necessary to take steps at your request prior to entering a contract.
- To make and administer a booking with a cruise line — performance of a contract.
- To send you deals emails — your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
- To prevent fraud and abuse of our forms — our legitimate interest in protecting the service.
- To meet accounting and legal obligations — compliance with a legal obligation.
5. Who we share it with
We share your data only where it is necessary to do what you have asked:
- The operating cruise line, when you instruct us to proceed with a booking. Passenger names, contact details and any requirements you have disclosed are passed to them, and they process that data under their own privacy policy.
- Our cruise data provider, which supplies itinerary and pricing content. We send search criteria — destination, dates, duration — never your identity.
- Our email delivery provider, which transmits enquiry notifications and your acknowledgement.
- Professional advisers and authorities, where we are legally required to disclose.
We never sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
6. International transfers
Cruise lines operate internationally, so a booking may involve transferring your details outside your country of residence. Where that happens we rely on the operator’s own safeguards and on standard contractual clauses where applicable.
7. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become bookings — 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted.
- Enquiries that become bookings — 7 years after travel, to meet accounting and insurance obligations.
- Newsletter subscriptions — until you unsubscribe, plus a suppression record so we do not re-add you by mistake.
- Server and API logs — 90 days.
8. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- correct anything inaccurate;
- delete your data, where we have no overriding legal reason to keep it;
- restrict or object to how we use it;
- transfer it to another provider in a portable format;
- stop sending you marketing — instant, and without needing a reason.
Email info@touris.net with your request. We respond within 30 days and there is no charge. If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to your local data protection authority.
9. Security
Enquiries are transmitted over TLS and stored in an access-controlled database. Access is limited to the consultants who need it to service your enquiry. We do not store payment card details at any point — we never take card payments through this website.
10. Cookies
This website uses only the cookies strictly necessary for it to function — session and security cookies set by our own domain. We set no advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking cookies, and there is therefore no consent banner to dismiss.
11. Children
This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. Where children are named as travellers on a booking, we collect their details from the booking adult and use them solely to make the arrangements.
12. Changes
We will post any change to this policy on this page and update the date above. Where a change is material and affects data we already hold, we will contact you directly.
